You need to know this.There’s a scene in the Bible most people read past too quickly.It’s Job chapter 1. The courtroom of heaven. And in just a few verses, Jehovah demonstrates three things at once:<ul><li>He sees everything clearly</li><li>He knows His servants intimately</li><li>He exposes Satan’s motives without fear</li></ul>Let’s walk through it.The Scene: Jehovah Is Fully Aware of Who Enters His PresenceJehovah isn’t passive. He isn’t surprised. He isn’t neutral.When the “sons of the true God” present themselves, Jehovah notices Satan immediately. He doesn’t pretend the opposition isn’t there. He names the distortion in the room.Notice three things right away:<ul><li>Jehovah’s Awareness — He knows exactly who is present and what their intentions are</li><li>Satan’s Motive — Jehovah exposes that Satan is not there to worship but to accuse</li><li>Divine Confrontation — Jehovah initiates the conversation, not Satan</li></ul>This is sovereignty in action. This morning, a necessary recalibration: the fleeting moment wealth takes flight.My journal this morning, dated 4-28-26, was heavy with the warnings found in Proverbs 23:4, 5 and 1 Tim 6:9, 10.The Anatomy of the ChaseThe warning is clear: "Do not wear yourself out to gain wealth. Stop and show understanding."Our modern system doesn't whisper this; it screams it. Yet, the drive to build something 'sovereign' can blur the line between necessary provision and exhausted striving. The physical and mental toll of this imbalance is real: physical depletion, tension, and the misery that comes when financial success becomes the sole driver. The chase itself is a form of depletion.The Escape Velocity"When you cast your eyes on it, it is not there, For it will surely sprout wings like an eagle and fly off into the sky."Wealth, when pursued as the primary destination, has a built-in exit strategy. To "show understanding" is to recognize that when we chase money, it escapes. The moment we anchor our definition of "success" solely on financial gain, we have given it permission to sprout wings.Understanding the ToolThe critical distinction is between a tool and a tether.<ul><li>Wealth as a Tether: You are bound to the chase, wearing down your body and spirit for something designed to fly off. It is the "love of money," which is the root of many senseless things.</li><li>Wealth as a Tool: It serves the mission of the sovereign estate, fueling the work of the Sphere without becoming the master.</li></ul>The goal is not simply to accumulate "wealth," but to cultivate the ground where true sovereignty takes root.The Morning ResolutionAs we transition from drifting to governing within the Darrel Sphere, the focus must remain on the foundation. Jehovah doesn't force the update. He doesn't auto-install the patch and reboot you without consent. He puts life and death before you — blessing and curse — and says choose. The living interface was designed with the freedom to accept or reject the code. Free will isn't a bug. It's a feature. It's the architecture itself. The Designer built the system with a choice gate — and that gate is sacred.But look at what comes with the right choice. Not just obedience. Not just compliance with a rulebook. Life. Survival. Longevity. Peace. Joy. Endurance. "For he is your life and by him you will endure a long time." The benefit isn't abstract. It's operational. When you choose life — when you love Jehovah, listen to his voice, stick to him — the system runs the way it was designed to run. The interface stabilizes. The firmware holds. He gave you the choice because the choice itself is part of the firmware. A forced update has no love in it. He wrote the firmware. He compiled the conscience. He designed every gate, every input channel, every sensory receptor. Every nerve ending that fires when conviction hits. Every signal pathway that lights up when truth lands in the right place at the right time. He architected all of it. And He left the source code open — in the Bible — for anyone willing to read it.The past 48 hours reminded me that the corporate systems demand full attention. Full days. Full bandwidth.
